CRAZY CARS, CRASHES AND NO BRAKES

I will keep this one short on words this one breaks for itself. For anyone who is a fan of Red Bull’s pantheon of crazy sports as I am you will know there X-Fighters and Cliff Diving are pretty extreme. However there is no more extreme sport than the Red Bull Soapbox race, no dedicated professionals taking calculated risks here, just members of the public throwing themselves down a hill in home crafted karts.

Now before I get in too much trouble, these soapboxes must by the rules have brakes but there are no rules to make the bat shit crazy people behind the wheel use them. They flew down the hill at Alexandra Palace at speeds more suited to cars than carts built in garages. Apart from the choice few serious contenders all the soapboxes were built with fun in mind and not to withstand the rigors of a course of jumps and obstacles. So enjoy as Lego Cars, Taxis, Baby carriages and VW Campers, speed, spill, jump and disintegrate. Please pay special attention to the faces as they realise they should of pulled the breaks shortly after they shoot 8ft up in the air off the final jump.
