Carey Mulligan? Walk in the park!

Just a short blog in praise of Carey Mulligan. We often in this profession come across celebrities but is a rare thing to come across genuinely talented and humble people. I have to confess that I am a bit of a movie geek and Drive was one of my favourite films of last year not to mention Shame. So I was a little bit surprised to find myself with a one on one photo session with the star of these films in a rainy Battersea Park and more than a bit nervous to see the kind of person I would find.

As it turns out she was a pleasure to work with. There are not many A-List satrs willing to stand in the pouring rain in an ill-fitting t-shirt and their photo taken early on a Sunday morning.  Effortlessly beautiful and working for a cause in which she really believes, fame chasers take note.

If you are used to my pictures you will know I like to light my subjects but the soft light of the day plus the natural look of Carey Mulligan need no help. Nice picture, nice lady, horrible day.
